March 19: Lit Café 2: Histories, Our Community, Ourselves presents local authors of BC history reading from their books and answering questions. Julie will be offering snippets from the second and centennial edition of Through a Canadian Periscope and her YA adventure story, James Douglas: Father of BC. April 15: Book Magic: Reaching Publication Readiness A lively session that will help you plan your career strategy and understand the best option for your book projects, whether fiction or nonfiction. Arranged by Golden Ears Writers at Maple Ridge Arts Centre Theatre lobby, 7-9pm. Free and all welcome.
... I attended Julie's  session for Golden Ear's Writers.... Julie was like a leprechaun sharing her pot of gold. She threw out gold coins for two hours. I scooped every one of them.
