Speakers start by writing - our keynotes, seminars, and stories, etc. We also have to write outstanding promotional material at the outset of our careers or we are unlikely to get any speaking engagements at all.
Speaking and Writing - the Indivisible Twins is a three hour workshop that provides the foundation for the development of all the documents necessary for print and electronic promotion of your topics and YOU!
Speakers will learn:
- how to boost bookings with good promotional writing
- which are the essential promotional documents
- to identify the essential components of each document
- how to gather the information they need
- how to write each type of document
- how to set up their promotional package and what goes in it.
Using a unique questionnaire, a lively PowerPoint presentation, exercises, and annotated examples, speakers will begin composing their:
- Mission statements
- One sheets and individual presentation flyers
- Program descriptors (the single most important piece of promotional writing for speakers)
- Presentation titles
- Slogans
- Bios -- long and short (the second most important...!)
- Bio spin-offs - introductions, by-lines, directory blurbs, and more!
