Julie Ferguson has been writing successfully since 1971 and has
rarely received a rejection slip from an editor. She has had her work
published in local, national, and international magazines, as well as
online, on subjects as diverse as skiing for the disabled and writing,
Canadian submarines and llama trekking. She is also the author of four non-fiction
books on Canadian history, and seven
books for
writers and teachers. Julie's latest book,
James Douglas: Father of BC, is a YA biography (Dundurn)
and will appear in October 2009.
